  • You can reach out through our contact form or email us directly at info@minttherapyandwellness.com. From there, we’ll set up a brief consultation to get to know one another and help you schedule your first session.

  • You can meet with us in person at our New York City office, or remotely if you’re located in NY, FL, CT, or NJ. Our goal is to make therapy accessible in the way that feels best for you.

  • Like many boutique practices in New York, Mint Therapy & Wellness is not in-network with insurance. If your plan offers out-of-network benefits, you may be eligible to receive partial reimbursement for sessions — typically 60–80% once your deductible is met. We’ll provide you with a super-bill to submit to your insurance and can help you look up your benefits so you know exactly what your coverage includes.

  • Session fees range from $180–$325, depending on the clinician’s training and experience. We know finances are an important part of this process, so please reach out to us directly to talk through options.

  • Your first session is about beginning a relationship built on trust and care. We’ll take time to get to know each other, explore what feels most important to you right now, and start setting gentle goals for how therapy can best support you.

  • Consistency is important in therapy. We usually recommend weekly sessions, since we see the most progress with that rhythm, but we’ll work with you to find a schedule that feels sustainable and supportive.

  • There isn’t a set timeline — therapy looks different for everyone. Some people come for a few months to focus on a specific challenge, while others choose longer-term support. We’ll check in together along the way to make sure therapy continues to meet your needs.

  • Individual sessions are 50 minutes and couples sessions are 55 minutes. 

  • We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. If a session is canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice (outside of emergencies), the full fee is charged. This policy is in place to protect your time and the consistency of the work, while also respecting the commitment we hold for you.
