About Julia Brockmann, Associate Therapist

Julia Brockmann is an associate therapist at Mint Therapy & Wellness, a boutique psychotherapy practice in New York City. Julia works with individuals navigating anxiety, stress, burnout, trauma, PTSD, life transitions, self-worth, and identity challenges. She also has a true passion for working with teenagers navigating social pressure, friendship challenges, and school stress — and with college-aged young adults working through identity, self-esteem, and dating.

Julia takes a holistic, trauma-informed approach, drawing from CBT, IFS, ACT, somatic therapy, attachment-based work, and mindfulness-based approaches to support meaningful, lasting change. She tailors therapy to each individual while remaining deeply attuned to the nervous system and each client's lived experience — helping clients build greater self-awareness, trust their intuition, and move forward with clarity and care.

What clients experience most is Julia's warmth, curiosity, and genuine investment in their growth. She creates a space that feels safe, collaborative, and grounded in trust — where healing feels both supported and empowering.

Outside of sessions she enjoys yoga, long walks, exploring the New York City food scene, photography and spending time with her dog.

Julia works with individuals across New York, Connecticut, and Florida via in-person and tele-health sessions.
